Provides
scholarship application for those wishing to enter the drawing
for the scholarship to attend a professional conference. The drawing will be held at the annual spring
luncheon and recipients must notify the Scholarship Committee
Chair no later than October 1 of conference plans. |

Seeks
out candidates for office and prepares a slate of candidates
by April 1. This slate of candidates
and their qualification will be posted.
Tabulates results and announces election results at the
annual spring luncheon. |

for gathering and editing ASLFC committee reports and newsworthy
articles, and maintaining the Web site.. |

Sets up subcommittees to handle arrangements for Principal/Librarian
Dinner, Spring Reception, and any other ASLFC social events. Arrangements include: securing the facilities,
publicity, planning the menu, arranging for flowers, and corsages,
and making name tags.
